Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine! Sautéed mushrooms are full of flavor while the beef shank tacos with au juis dipping sauce was phenomenal! Try this place out as they are celebrating 40 years in business!
My first time here. The cheese dip didn't have much flavor, although the tacos were amazing! The burrito was ok. I'm going to try the steak tacos next. This is a pretty cool place.
This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all a 10/10. It is so beautiful inside and everyone was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. But the best part of this restaurant is of course the delicious food served. I ordered the flautas and carne asada and it was the most heavenly food to ever touch my tongue. This was an entirely different experience from the food I have eaten my entire life as I am a little white boy. I can’t believe I’ve gone the first 19 years of my life missing out on this. I went with my mexican boyfriend as well and he says it was very authentic and the best mexican food down here. I almost cried eating this food tonight. It was genuinely heaven on earth, the most delectable food I’ve had in my life. My eyes were watering and my lips quivering as I ate this delicious food. To the wonderful servers, staff, and cooks, I hope you all have wonderful and happy lives because you have certainly changed mine for the better. I love this restaurant so much and will for sure be returning very soon.
We were so excited to find Mexican food in the keys! The atmosphere and service were phenomenal but unfortunately the food did not live up to those standards. We ordered queso, fajita nachos, and chicken enchiladas with rice & beans. The first basket of chips is free but they are $2 after that. The salsa was good with actual chunks of veggies but the queso was literally melted monterrey jack cheese with no seasonings, flavors, or veggies. Not even salt! Absolutely awful. The Enchilada sauce was homemade and flavorful but too heavy on the chili powder - that dominated the plate. The rice was flavorless and the beans were extremely dry that looked like they had been microwaved into oblivion. My husband enjoyed the fajita nachos. 4 meals, 4 sodas, queso, & 2 extra baskets of chips + $15 tip - our meal was $130. They do have on-site parking.
This restaurant gives homey family run vibes. Staff is very friendly, attentive and polite. They start the table off with warm tortilla chips and delicious salsa. They have many options to choose from and combinations platters are great if you want a mix of a few things. This is definitely a spot we will return to in the Keys!
