I usually enjoy coming to Pioneer. Lunch is the best time to go, but remember to go early as this place gets crowded fast. They did lose a star one time for forgetting about me at lunch. Everyone got their orders before me and there I was, still waiting for my food. But its still good food, so they get the other 4 stars. I especially love their Mushroom Swiss Burger & Sweet Potato Casserole. I come here with friends and colleagues and we usually have a good time. I would recommend this as a great breakfast or lunch stop in Sulphur Springs!

Great food, friendly staff. The limited hours ALMOST got them a 4 star for me - but I can't blame them. If you got it, flaunt it. Parked right across the street from the local Tesla Supercharger station, this little hometown secret is packed from the time it opens till it closes.
If you like great home style food, a good chicken fried steak and great sweet tea - you'll love this place. Never been disappointed here.

Karen took great care of us. The food pleased each person in our family. The corn bread was a bit too light on corn for our taste, but the chili (without beans!) will bring us back! Burgers, wraps, onion rings, fries, grilled chicken, and fried okra: no disappointing choices at our table.
